Chinese associations receive RM2 mln in funding from CM

KUCHING, Oct 13: Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg granted a total of RM2 million in allocations when visiting Sibu yesterday.

The brief presentation ceremony held at a local hotel in Sibu saw Abang Johari presenting a mock cheque to two associations.

The United Chinese Association Sibu Division receiving RM1 million allocation from Abang Johari (fourth left).

He allocated RM1 million to United Chinese Association Sibu, and another RM1 million to the Thai Pak Kung Temple Association of Bintangor.
