MIRI, Oct 12: A strange altercation among eight men happened in Lutong at around 6pm yesterday (Oct 11) — it happened right within the Lutong police station compound!
The suspects were aged between 19 and in their late 30s, and it is not known what had sparked the argument.
Miri City police chief ACP Lim Meng Seah, in confirming the case today, said policemen on duty instructed them to stop what they were doing and to disperse, but their calls were ignored.
“They ignored our instructions and continued their argument,” said Lim, in a press statement.
Police then decided to arrest all of them. No one was hurt in the bizarre incident. — DayakDaily
