China’s new Consul General in Kuching Xing Weiping ready to work with Sarawak govt to further economic devt

KUCHING, June 23: The People’s Republic of China’s new Consul General in Kuching Xing Weiping assures he is ready to work with Sarawak government in all aspect of economic development.

According to a news report from Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas) today, Xing said he is confident that the friendly relations between Sarawak and China would continue to be strong.

He said this during a courtesy call on the Premier of Sarawak Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg at Wisma Bapa Malaysia yesterday.

Xing added, he was also deeply impressed with the beauty of Sarawak and the friendly nature of Sarawakians. — DayakDaily
