KUCHING, Aug 1: The closure of the route to Jakar and the temporary opening of a route out of Jakar of the Sarikei section of the Sarawak Pan Borneo Highway will be implemented at 4pm tomorrow (Aug 2) to allow construction works to be carried out.
According to the Sarawak Public Works Department (JKR), road users are advised to be careful while driving along the route and to adhere to traffic management.
“The contractors will announce should there be any changes to the date or works involved in the area.
“Road users are also advised to plan their journeys in the affected areas,” said the department.
