MIRI, Sept 21: A wooden chalet located along Jalan Bakam was destroyed in a fire early this morning.
According to a spokesperson from the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), the incident occurred around 2.32am.

A team from the Sentral Fire Station, along with assistance from the Lopeng Fire Station, rushed to the scene, located approximately 24 kilometres from the city.
The fire was brought under control after nearly 30 minutes. No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation. — DayakDaily
