KUCHING, March 19: Centre of Technical Excellence (Centexs) is collaborating with Jeiwa Global Resources (Jeiwa) to produce Sarawak heritage products to generate economy for local communities.
According to a news report from Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas) today, Tiffin Jeiwa founder and director Ina Fadilah Nahar said the collaboration is a good move to market products made in Sarawak in line with Jeiwa’s goal of empowering women and the community.
The collection of stainless steel tiffin carrier bowls named ‘Tiffin Jeiwa’ is hand-painted with the motifs of Sarawak.
“This is a good platform for Sarawak-made products to go abroad,” said Ina Fadilah during a press conference promoting the latest Sarawak heritage products at the Songket & Keringkam Gallery.
She added they operate as a community body on a social enterprise basis which is in line with the ‘Go Green’ goal through the use of materials that are safe for consumers and the environment. ― DayakDaily
