KUCHING, Oct 13: A 30-year-old man escaped safety after his car caught fire near the Kuching-Samarahan traffic light junction today.
According to a report from the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operations centre, after receiving the call regarding the incident at 12.25pm, firefighters from Bomba Tabuan Jaya were deployed to the location.
“The operation commander reported that the incident involved a Perodua Axia, which was destroyed by the flames,” it said.

Firefighters then extinguished the flames and managed to control the situation before ending the operation at 12.49pm. — DayakDaily
