On the federal side, Wan Junaidi who is q former Minister of Natural Resources and Environment said, the appointment of cabinet ministers is of high secrecy and those who may be appointed will always be in the dark until the announcement.

“Always others will know faster than us because we may be attending functions or traveling and we find out through messages sent to us.

“We all have to wait for the Prime Minister’s announcement to know who are appointed,” Wan Junaidi told DayakDaily.

Wan Junaidi was appointed as Parliamentary Deputy Speaker in 2008, and became Deputy Home Affairs Minister in 2013.

On July 2015, he was appointed Minister of Natural Resources and Environment in a cabinet reshuffle.

“In July 2015, I boarded a flight as a deputy minister and by the time when I reached the destination, I had become a full minister.

“So no one knows of the list and none of us has any idea of who will be appointed,” said Wan Junaidi.
