KUCHING, Dec 7: The bursting main water pipe at Jalan Liu Shan Bang 6A here has been patched up with speedy help by Sarawak United Peoples’ Party Public Complaints Bureau (SUPP PCB).
Its chief Wilfred Yap said they have been receiving regular complaints and requests for assistance from the ground, and this incident of broken main water pipe was one of many.
“Recently, the business community of Mile 7 had complained about a burst main water pipe at Lorong Liu Shan Bang 6A causing great inconveniences to their customers.
“Following the request for assistance received, the complaint was immediately communicated to Kuching Water Board and the burst main water pipe has been repaired,” he said in a statement today.
He added SUPP PCB has always been quick to respond to the peoples’ calls for help such as to carry out improvement and repair works to damaged infrastructure facilities like burst pipes, faulty street lighting, drains and roads.
These problems have always been dealt with immediately by communicating with relevant authorities for their immediate actions to rectify the complaints.
Yap, who is also SUPP Kota Sentosa branch chairman, thus assured the public that they will continue to serve the local community and be fully committed to serving the people despite their political inclinations.
“The public can also submit complaints online through Talikhidmat mobile application or its call centre at 555999 (fixed line throughout Sarawak) and 082-555999 (for mobile phone users) or email talikhidmat atĀ 555999@sarawak.gov.my.
“Talikhidmat was set up by the Sarawak government as a one stop communication channel for the public to effectively reach government departments or agencies and local authorities,” said Yap. ā DayakDaily
