KUCHING, June 18: Muara Tuang assemblyman Datuk Idris Buang expects swift action from the Kuching Water Board (KWB) to address the low water pressure problem faced by Kampung Baru residents in Kota Samarahan.
According to the State Public Communication Unit (Ukas) in a news report today on Thursday, following the complaints received from the residents, Idris went to the ground and visited the Samarahan Industrial Estate to find out the cause of the problem.
It was later found that a burst water pipeline in the industrial area was the culprit behind the low water pressure being experienced in Kampung Baru.
As such, he hoped that the KWB would come to the location and take immediate action to improve the situation.
At the same time, Idris has also instructed Muara Tuang constituency First Response Team (FReT) to deliver clean water supply using tanker trucks to Kampung Baru, until the water supply in the village is restored. — DayakDaily
