BINTULU, March 18: Six brand new cars were destroyed when a lorry trailer caught fire along Jalan Bintulu-Miri, this afternoon.
Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operations centre revealed via a statement that it was notified about the fire at 2.16pm.
The trailer which carried three Proton Saga, two Honda City, two Honda HRV and one Honda Civic was heading from Kuching to Miri.
Firefighters brought the fire under control within 30 minutes and saved two Honda HRV.
Investigators are working to determine the cause of fire. — DayakDaily
