KUCHING, March 18: Sarawak recorded five new positive Covid-19 cases as of 5pm today.
This brings the state’s number of positive cases to 50 and one death so far.
The State Disaster Management Committee disclosed that of the five new cases, two patients were warded at Sarawak General Hospital, two at Sibu Hospital and one at Bintulu Hospital.
Meanwhile, a total of 115 person-under-investigation (PUI) cases were also recorded in Sarawak as of 3pm today.
With the new cases, Sarawak has since Jan 11 this year, recorded a cumulative 655 cases.
However, 320 cases are still waiting laboratory test results, while 285 had tested negative for the disease. — DayakDaily
