KUCHING, Dec 26: With only a few more days until the Borneo SarXIndo Concert scheduled to take place at Sarawak Cultural Village (SCV) here, the prices of the tickets have been revised to as low as RM80.
According to the concert director, Izzat Adnan, the new rates for a one-day pass introduced on Dec 21 come as the final ‘full blast marketing’ leading up to the concert and in conjunction with the Christmas celebration.
The GA Standing Zone is priced at RM100 (RM80 for student rate), while the Rock Zone is RM130.
Concertgoers can also buy the ticket in bulk for four persons with GA Standing Zone priced at RM380 (RM300 for student rate) and Rock Zone at RM500.
Students must provide proof of student identity during the ticket purchase for the special student rate.
Initially, the tickets will be available through ticket2u.com.my and at the SCV entrance during the day.
“Now, concertgoers can purchase the tickets at our booths at Plaza Merdeka, Culture City Kuching, and campuses of Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (Unimas) and Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) in Kota Samarahan,” he said during its bike ride event organised in collaboration with Wings Motor Gang Society (WMGS) Kuching branch and Kingz Motorcycle Group at Plaza Merdeka shopping mall here yesterday (Dec 25).
The bike ride event saw the bikers donning the SarXIndo T-shirt and convoyed from Mjays Café to Medan Selera Kampung Boyan before continuing their journey to Plaza Merdeka.
They also invited Big Jamm Band from Culture City Bar to cover the songs that the original artists will perform in the upcoming concert.
Organised by High Achievers Networking Events (HNE), the Borneo SarXIndo Concert will be held at Sarawak Cultural Village (SCV) on Dec 29 and 30.
With the theme “Pre-New Year’s Eve Party”, the first day will see “Alu Alu Band” and “Senseless” as opening acts, followed by DJ AWG, DJ LENN, DJ Cassie D and last but not least, DJ AlexisGrace as the headliner.
