Borneo International Water and Wastewater Exhibition and Conference booths sold out

KUCHING, Sept 30: The Borneo International Water and Wastewater Exhibition and Conference (BIWWEC), happening Oct 17-19 at Imperial Hotel here, has officially sold out its exhibition space for the conference following record numbers of businesses signing up in the last few months.

BIWWEC 2022 organising chairman and Sarawak Rural Water Supply Department (JBALB) director Ir Chang Kuet Shian hopes the event which is expecting some 400 local and international delegates will be beneficial.

“We are proud to be Sarawak’s only international congregation of water and wastewater experts.


“We look forward to working on active solutions and synergistic efforts to overcome challenges of water and wastewater needs in Borneo at the conference,” he said in a media release today.

Themed ‘Sustainability and Resilience Through Smart Technology and Innovation’, the fifth edition of BIWWEC this year will be officiated by Premier of Sarawak Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg.

With the latest addition of former Sarawak State Secretary Datuk Amar Jaul Samion among the distinguished panel speakers for the conference session on Post-Covid Development Strategy (PCDS), Chang said they look forward to invaluable discussions and development of new strategies that can be implemented in Sarawak, for the betterment of communities.
