The association in a statement said the contents of the book include records of Sarawak’s maritime industry, the introduction of various types of ships, maintenance work, and ship design.

It also hopes to highlight the development of the state’s maritime industry through the book.

“This is to have a better understanding of how much labour the maritime industry needs, how much profit can be made, and many more so that the government, relevant units, and the industry can better understand the contribution and potential of the state’s maritime industry.
