KUCHING, May 10: Fire and Rescue personnel have rescued a woman who was trapped in her car following a crash at a residential area at Taman Airport, Kapit.
Firefighters who arrived at the scene following a distress call at 10.40pm yesterday, said the victim, 37, was found trapped at the driver’s seat of the vehicle after it crashed into a gate pillar of a house.
“The victim was conscious when firefighters arrived and the operation to free the trapped victim went smoothly,” the department said in a statement.
The victim was rushed to the hospital for immediate treatment. — DayakDaily
