SIBU, Oct 15: A man was found dead with over 10 bricks tied to his body at a private jetty at Jalan Lanang, here, yesterday.
According to Sibu district police chief, ACP Stanley Jonathan Ringgit, the unidentified body was found at around 6pm entangled in a fishing net.
The body has tattoos on both shoulders and the bricks were found tied to his neck and waist.
“It is unknown whether the victim was local or a foreigner, as the body has yet to be identified. Investigation is still ongoing and we are waiting for the post-mortem result,” he said.
He added that there were no personal documents found on the body.
The body was sent to Sibu Hospital mortuary. — DayakDaily
