KUCHING, Nov 21: The body of a 57-year-old man feared drowned after a boat capsized at the Pelagus rapids near Nanga Makoh has been found.
According to a report from Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operations centre today, the deceased’s body was found at 3.30pm near where the capsize took place.

After the remains were retrieved by search and rescue (SAR) personnel, the body was later brought to Kubu Wharf to be handed over to the police for further action.
The victim, Bubut Benang, a resident of Rh Belaja in Nanga Benin, was feared drowned when the boat he was traveling in capsized at Pelagus Rapids along Batang Rajang on Nov 19. — DayakDaily
