Bintulu Port Authority and Pusaka contributes RM3 mln to Sarawak Disaster Fund

KUCHING, Aug 27: Bintulu Port Authority (BPA) and Sarawak Industry Development Corporation (Pusaka) have contributed a total of RM3 million to the Sarawak Disaster Fund to help tackle the Covid-19 pandemic in the State.

According to the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) in a statement today, the contribution was presented to Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg during a simple ceremony held at his office in Wisma Bapa Malaysia in Petra Jaya, today.

The RM1 million contribution from BPA, was presented by its chairman Robert Lawson Chuat, followed by another RM2 million contribution from Pusaka, which was presented by its chairman Hashim Bojet.
