Hearing of civil and criminal cases in Kuching Court stopped for 7 days until Sept 2

KUCHING, AUG 27: Hearing of civil and criminal cases in Kuching Court will be temporarily halted for seven days, from Aug 27 to Sept 2, 2021.

According to a notice by the Federal Court Registry Office, it was by order of the director of Chief Justice of Sabah and Sarawak that all hearings of both civil and criminal cases in Kuching Court will be postponed for seven days, starting Aug 27.

Only remand cases and first mention of criminal cases will be heard during this period of time.

Counter services will still be operational with strict compliance to the current standard operating procedures (SOP).
