Bintulu, June 30: Firefighters from Bintulu Fire and Rescue Station were called to assist in transporting a 49-year-old obese woman to the hospital today.
The emergency call was received around 2.07 pm, and the team was quickly despatched to the scene near Sing Kwong Supermarket, Shahida Commercial Centre, Bintulu.
Upon arrival, firefighters found the woman, estimated to weigh over 200kg, unconscious on the third floor.
The challenging operation required the use of a stretcher to safely lift and transport her.
The firefighters carefully maneuvered the stretcher down from the third floor and successfully moved the woman to a waiting ambulance. She was then transported to the hospital for further medical attention. — DayakDaily
