“I felt tired. I felt lethargic after taking the injection. But other people may not feel tired. That was only my own experience. I did feel tired and thirsty.

“It depends on what job you have. It is better to take a rest, on the day, after the vaccination,” said Dr Annuar who is also the Education, Science and Technological Research Assistant Minister.

He was answering a question posed by a viewer of his livestream on social media today. The person had sought the Nangka assemblyman’s advice on whether to take a day off on the day of vaccination.

Meanwhile, Dr Annuar reported that presently there are more than 4,424,936 Malaysians who have registered to receive the Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccination.

He clarified the figure was not absolute as it could be more as there were people registered through other means such as via forms filled manually instead of online via the MySejahtera application.

On the vaccination of frontliners, Dr Annuar revealed that more than 25,000 frontliners in Sarawak have been vaccinated, which is one of the highest rates nationwide compared to other states. — DayakDaily
