KUCHING, Aug 2: A man was knocked unconscious after he was hit by a falling tree branch at Kampung Merembeh, Bau this afternoon.
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) was alerted to the incident at 2.40pm and immediately deployed a team to the scene.
According to a statement from the State Bomba operations centre, the man was unconscious and trapped under the branch after the incident. The firefighters managed to free the victim.
Ministry of Health (MoH) personnel were also called to the scene and performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on the victim immediately.
The victim regained consciousness and was monitored before he was sent to Bau Hospital for further action. — DayakDaily
