Bankrupt, blacklisted may apply for BPN

KUCHING, April 6: Those who have been blacklisted and declared bankrupt may still apply for Bantuan Prihatin Nasional (BPN) financial aid.

According to the Inland Revenue Board (LHDN) in a media statement, the federal government has decided that those who are declared bankrupt or blacklisted are also entitled to receive BPN financial aid.

Those who are bankrupt or blacklisted may apply via LHDN’s web portal at www.hasil.gov.my or https://bpn.hasil.gov.my/ beginning from today (April 6) onwards.

LHDN asserted applications will be processed accordingly based on criteria which has been set by the federal government.

Successful applicants will have their BPN payments paid in cash via Bank Simpanan Nasional.

LHDN highlighted the federal government hoped the BPN financial assistance can assist the rakyat with the cost of living.
