Bank of America eyes Sarawak as strategic investment hub in courtesy visit to Premier Abang Johari

KUCHING, March 17: Bank of America has set its sights on Sarawak as a potential strategic investment destination, following a high-level courtesy call on Sarawak Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg today.

According to a Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas) news report, the visit — held at the Premier’s Office in Wisma Bapa Malaysia, Petra Jaya — was led by the bank’s managing director and Country executive for Malaysia, Gautam Padmakar Puntambekar.

Puntambekar said it was his first official visit with the delegation, aimed at exploring opportunities and attracting foreign investments into the State.

Also present were the director of Investment Banking Malaysia, Raja Ali Raja Othman, and the managing director of Investment Banking Malaysia, Sufyan Abdul Jabbar. — DayakDaily
