Bandar Kuching MP allocates RM118,300 to upgrade SK Batu Lintang’s hall

KUCHING, Oct 16: SK Batu Lintang’s dilapidated hall will be upgraded and widened to provide a more comfortable space for the school’s activities, especially assemblies.

The effort is made possible thanks to Bandar Kuching MP Dr Kelvin Yii Lee Wuen, who has allocated RM118,300 for the purpose.

“SK Batu Lintang is among the oldest schools in Kuching, and its hall is dilapidated and too small to cater to the school’s needs.

“During school assemblies, the pupils have to huddle up due to limited space,” he said in a statement today.

Following this, he said his team had channelled the allocation to the school. — DayakDaily
