KUCHING, Sept 22: The Chargé d’affaires (diplomatic representative) of the Kingdom of Bahrain Rashad Farooq Mohamed Saleh Alshaikh paid a courtesy visit to Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister Dato Sri Tiong King Sing.
The meeting provided the opportunity for an in depth discussion on the possible cultural exchanges between both nations.
“Our discussions revolved around the exciting possibilities of cultural, heritage, and arts exchanges, specially focused on building a mutually beneficial relationship between our people and nation.
“We are committed to deepening our cooperation in various sectors, especially in the realms of culture, arts, and tourism,” said Tiong who is also Bintulu MP in his social media post following the visit.
He said both parties looked forward to more joint activities to foster stronger bonds and promote the rich cultural tapestries of Bahrain and Malaysia to the world. — DayakDaily
