MIRI, Aug 5: A cat found more trouble than it bargained for after it got impaled on a sharp grill while attempting to jump over a wall of a house in Krokop 3 this morning.

The feline was stuck there for approximately 10 minutes before a team from Miri Civil Defence Force (APM) arrived to rescue it.

According to a report by APM Miri, the house’s owner, a 35-year-old man, spotted the cat in distress and immediately called the APM at 8:15am.

The APM team swiftly arrived at the scene and safely removed the cat in less than 10 minutes.

The cat was then treated for its injuries and is reported to be in stable condition. — DayakDaily
