KUCHING, May 24: Kuching Bodhi Counselling Centre, in collaboration with Learning Hub by Hope Place, is organising an Anti-Drugs Hero Educational and Game Programme from May 27 to 29 at Level 1, Exhibition Hall, La Promenade Mall.
According to a statement, there will be the Anti-Drugs Hero Starter Town, an education exhibition sharing knowledge about drug abuse, myths and facts about drugs, and how it affects the body.
Officers from the Narcotics Criminal Investigation Department (JSJN) and National Anti-Drugs Agency (AADK) will be there to share their latest findings and answer queries from the public.
There will also be interactive game stations designed to help the public better understand drug abuse issues.
Both the exhibition and game stations are available daily throughout the programme.
On Saturday (May 28), there will be two sharing sessions, where experts give input and knowledge on drug abuse prevention. The first session will be at 11am by Sarawak NCID chief ACP Mustafa Kamal Gani Abdullah, and the second one will take place at 3pm and is by anti-drug advocate Chong Yoon Kong.
On Sunday (May 29), there will be two Human Library sessions where the public can engage in real-life story sharing.
