S’wakian Pang Sze Teng wins gold in 2nd Asian Mixed Martial Arts Championship in Cambodia

KUCHING, July 15: Sarawakian mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Pang Sze Teng has brought home a gold in the 2nd Asian MMA Championship (AMMA) at Phnom Penh, Cambodia, which ended Saturday (July 13).

Cyberjaya College Kuching extended its congratulations to the 22-year-old athlete on social media earlier today for her success.

“Big congratulations to our student, Sze Teng Pang, who won the gold medal in the 2nd Asian Mixed Martial Arts Championship (AMMA) 2024 at the National Stadium, Cambodia.

“Sze Teng Pang is currently pursuing a Diploma in Physiotherapy at Cyberjaya College Kuching.

“On behalf of Cyberjaya College Kuching, we are proud of you and wish you all the best!” said the college.

In the 1st AMMA in Thailand last year, Pang won the silver medal in the women’s Traditional MMA 69kg and below category. It was her first fight abroad against many tough athletes from China. — DayakDaily
