KUCHING, Nov 16: All the parliamentary seats contested by Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) in the 15th General Election (GE15) are considered ‘white’ seats.

PBB secretary-general Dato Sri Alexander Nanta Linggi said this was based on information collected from all 14 constituencies including P215 Kapit and P213 Mukah.

Speaking on the campaign trail in P213 Mukah, Nanta who is also Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) secretary-general however acknowledged that other GPS component parties are contesting in a number of ‘grey’ seats.

Apart from PBB, Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) is contesting in seven seats, Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS) in six seats and Progressive Democratic Party (PDP) in four.

“We admit there are challenges in some specific areas for other component parties in GPS.

“Therefore, we hope that we can do something fast to enable or correct the situation within these few days that is left for campaigning,” Nanta said.

Meanwhile, he said GPS is confident it can win between 25 to 28 seats out of the total 31 parliamentary seats at the November 19 polls.

“Of course it would be better if we GPS can win all 31 seats but we will see the reality later,” he added. — DayakDaily
