MIRI, July 17: Two intruders were caught while one escaped when a Resident Committee (RC) Pujut patrolling team spotted them climbing over the gate of a house in Tudan using a ladder in the wee hours today.
According to sources, the incident unfolded at 12.53am. When the suspects spotted the patrolling team, they tried to flee the scene, but the team members managed to grab hold of one of them in front of the house.
However, the other two quickly sped off on a motorcycle. But the patrolling team members did not give up. They gave chase and managed to catch one of them after a 2km chase.
The duo was later handed over to the police. — DayakDaily
