Alert cops, Resident Committee members nab stranger prowling in Jln Jee Foh

MIRI, April 15: Police and Resident Committee (RC) members rushed to the government quarters in Jalan Jee Foh here last night when they received news that two strangers have been spotted behaving suspiciously in the area.

When the cops and RC members arrived at the scene at about 10.40pm, the duo tried to flee the scene, but only one succeeded in doing so. The one arrested was in his 30s.


From a body inspection, police found a chopping knife in his bag. The knife was immediately seized.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the suspect had worked with a uniform body but has been discharged. — DayakDaily
