KUCHING, July 10: Agrobank Sarawak is scheduled to begin its mobile banking services on July 12, covering Padawan and Tebedu.
It said the mobile banking vehicle will operate from 10am to 3pm at the compounds of Padawan Sub-district Office, Jalan Jambu-Bayur from July 12 to 16.
“In line with Phase 1 of the National Recovery Plan (NRP) announced by the government, our mobile banking services will officially commence on July 12 to provide more comprehensive banking services to the rural community,” it said.
On the available services, Agrobank Sarawak said it would include Automated Teller Machine (ATM) services, account opening, debit card application and Takaful Kasih Plus product promotions.
“With that, Agrobank is pleased to invite the surrounding community of Padawan and Tebedu areas to come and use the Agrobank Mobile Banking Services.
“It is a joint initiative by the Sarawak government and Agrobank to facilitate the banking affairs of the people in the State,” it said in a statement today.
Nonetheless, the bank reminded the public to observe the standard operating procedure (SOP) and always practice physical distancing when using the facilities at the mobile bank.
