KUCHING, Feb 1: The Samarahan Health office will conduct an active case detection (ACD) exercise to detect Covid-19 at Kampung Pinang, Samarahan district tomorrow (Feb 2) and Wednesday (Feb 3).
The Samarahan Divisional Disaster Management Committee (DDMC) in a statement today said the Samarahan district police will conduct movement control starting at 8 am tomorrow.
According to a press statement from the State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) today, Samarahan reported one case of Covid-19 from contact tracing to Covid-19 positive cases.
Prior to that, Samarahan registered five cases of Covid-19 on Jan 30 out of which four cases were identified from active contact tracing to Covid-19 patients.
On Jan 29, Samarahan also reported one case of Covid-19 arising from close contact tracing of Covid-19 positive case. — DayakDaily
