KUCHING, Aug 14: Close contacts to Covid-19 positive cases detected in Taman Samarindah who have yet to be screened are urged to get tested tomorrow (Aug 15).
An active case detection (ACD) operation for Taman Samarindah in Samarahan will be held at Dewan Perpaduan DUN 17 Stakan from 9am to 4pm.
The Samarahan Division Health Office, in a notice today, also advised those with symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, flu and loss of taste and smell to undergo swab tests.
In fact, anyone who is in cluster areas and assessed to be at high risk can go for testing.
Note that those who will be undergoing saliva test for Covid-19 are required to not eat or drink, smoke and rinse their mouths at least two hours prior to testing.— DayakDaily
