KUCHING, Sept 29: A self accident at Mile 16, Kampung Gunda, Kuching-Serian Road has resulted in the death of one man and four casualties.
The deceased has been identified as Lai Boon King, 57, while the other four who sustain serious injured are Jong Shueng Feng, 17; Mohd Nizam Mizan, 22 and Rika Dian Ardianti, 22 and a male whose identity has yet to be identified.
According to the statement of the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), the deceased was pronounced death at the scene by the paramedic.
Bomba Operations Centre received the report at 2.20 am this morning.
All victims were brought out from the vehicle with the help of the public before the arrival of the personnel from Bomba.
The four injured were sent to the hospital for treatment while the deceased was referred to the police for further action. — DayakDaily
