Meanwhile, former Gedong assemblyman and special representative to the Premier in Gedong, Dato Sri Mohd Naroden Majais, was retained as the PBB Gedong branch deputy chief.

Abang Johari, when speaking at the closing ceremony of PBB Gedong’s Delegates Meeting held at a local hotel here today, thanked the party members for their continuous support.

“I have been your representative (in Gedong) for just about two years and a half.

“We are currently at the halfway because the election is going to take place in about two more years.

“However, our party remains strong and our strength comes from the party members who are committed to advancing the development of Sarawak,” he said.
