Abang Jo to KL for closed-door meeting with GPS MPs and later with prime minister

KUCHING, Mac 1: Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg has left Kuching for Kuala Lumpur this afternoon.

He was seen to have board a private flight from the Hornbill Skyways Hangar at 3:30 pm, according to Astro Awani.


Quoting sources, Awani said Abang Johari is expected to have a closed-door meeting with Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) MPs at a hotel in Kuala Lumpur.

Not details on the agenda of the meeting was reported.

Abang Johari was also reported to have scheduled to meet up with Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin at the latter’s residence at Bukit Damansara at 6 pm.

Earlier on, Deputy Chief Minister Tan Sri James Masing revealed that Abang Johari will be in Kuala Lumpur to have a meeting with all the GPS MPs today.

A few senior GPS leaders as well as Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas are also reported to have touched down in Kuala Lumpur.— DayakDaily
