KUCHING, July 20: Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg received a courtesy call from the new head of Sarawak Police Special Branch Senior Assistant Commissioner (SAC) Hairuddin Che Hamid at his office at Wisma Bapa Malaysia here today.
Hairuddin was accompanied by SAC Azman Omar who is relinquishing his post as the Special Branch head of Sarawak as he is transferred to Bukit Aman Counter Terrorism Unit in Kuala Lumpur.
Azman is expected to report for duty on August 3 while Hairuddin is starting his duty as the head of Special Branch today. —DayakDaily
