98 residents in rented house in Marudi under 2-week lockdown

MARUDI, April 21: A building which was converted into a rented house with 22 rooms and 98 residents at Jalan Cempaka, Kampung Cina here has been placed under the Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) for 14-days following close contact with a Covid-19 positive case.

According to a news report from Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas), the Marudi District Welfare Department has delivered food aid to the residents as the EMCO gets underway.

A total of 74 packets of food, eight packets of disposable diapers and six packets of milk formula have been distributed to the residents for their daily needs in the next two weeks. — DayakDaily
