KUCHING, Sept 26: A total of 94 farmers in Tasik Biru constituency received agricultural machinery assistance in the form of grass cutting machine worth RM1,000 each.
According to a report from Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas) today, the agricultural machinery assistance was provided by the Sarawak government through the Kuching Divisional Agriculture Department to participants under the Agricultural Facilitation Fund (AFF) programme for 2020.
Tasik Biru assemblyman Dato Henry Harry Jinep was on hand to deliver the machines to participants during a simple ceremony held at the community hall of Kampung Daun Singai yesterday (Sept 25).
Also present were political secretary to the Chief Minister Charles Chad Nissom, and Kuching Division Agriculture officer Chong Mui Sia. – DayakDaily.
