900 Sinovac doses delivered by helicopter to Kg Airport Semadoh

KUCHING, June 24: The National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (Pick) delivered a shipment of Covid-19 vaccines to Kampung Airport Semadoh in Ba’Kelalan.

According to a news report from Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas) today, a total of 900 doses of Sinovac were flown over using a helicopter which landed in the old airport at Kampung Airport Semadoh, on Wednesday (June 23).

Upon arrival, all of the boxes containing injection delivery equipment as well as the vaccines were brought to Desa Kampung Airport Semadoh Clinic to be stored in a refrigerated room.


The shipment will cater for the needs of residents in 12 villages and the vaccination process will be conducted at the Covid-19 vaccination centre (PPV) in Long Semadoh Rayeh Hall starting today (June 24). — DayakDaily
