KUCHING, Sept 19: Nine units of a longhouse at Rumah Panjang Jangin, Lemanak, Lubok Antu were affected by a roof that collapsed on Saturday afternoon.
Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) received an emergency call on the incident at 4.45 pm and a team was deployed to the scene.
According to a statement from the State Bomba Operation Centre, no operation was held and the firefighters continued to monitor the scene to make sure the surrounding is safe.
Bomba members also urged the residents of the longhouse to be more alert. -DayakDaily
