792 high risk individuals, senior citizens in Bau receive Sinovac jab

KUCHING, May 10: A total of 792 high risk individuals and senior citizens in Bau received Sinovac Covid-19 vaccinations during the second phase of the National Covid-19 Vaccination Programme conducted over two days in the district, recently.

According to Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas) in a news report today, all of the recipients who were injected with their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine had obtained the appointment for the vaccination through the MySejahtera application.

“On the first day of the programme, a total of 379 individuals were vaccinated, followed by another 413 individuals on the second day,” it said.

The two-day programme was organised by Bau District Health Department (PKD) at Dewan Perdana in the State Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Academy in Bau, from 7.30am until 2.30pm, with assistance from the Civil Defence Force (APM), and the People’s Volunteer Corps (Rela). — DayakDaily
