KUCHING, Dec 9: A 75-year-old man was found dead in a reservoir near Kampung Cina in Marudi.
According to a report from Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Marudi, they received a call regarding the incident at 12.55pm today.
Based on the report, the victim was reported to have gone out at 9.30am and failed to return home in the afternoon, which resulted in family members seeking assistance from Bomba Marudi.
Following that, a search operation was initiated near the area where the victim was reported to be missing, and the victim was found lying unconscious in the nearby two-foot-deep reservoir.
The deceased’s body was later handed over to medical personnel from the Ministry of Health (MOH) for further action. — DayakDaily
