MIRI, Jan 29: The body of an unidentified woman was found floating along the river at Jalan Krokop 10 this morning.
The body was spotted by members of the public at 9.03am, who alerted the authorities.
Miri OCPD ACP Alexson Naga Chabu confirmed receiving a report on the discovery.
A team from the Miri Central police station and medical personnel from Miri Hospital were rushed to the scene.
“Investigations at the scene found no criminal elements relating to the death, and the case has been classified as sudden death,” he said. — DayakDaily
