MIRI, Feb 6: A 50-year-old man was found dead in his hotel room yesterday (Feb 5).
According to Miri OCPS ACP Alexson Naga Chabu, a report on the discovery was made at 2.15pm that day.
“The deceased, who was from Kelantan and working as a vessel crew, had stayed at the hotel with four other crew members,” said Alexson.
Police have ruled out foul play, and the case is being classified as sudden death.
The body has been brought to Miri Hospital’s forensic department for further action. — DayakDaily
