MIRI, Feb 23: A total of 604 Covid-19 vaccine doses for the Covid-19 National Immunisation Programme For Children (PICKids) were deployed to 10 areas in the interiors of Miri by the Fire and and Rescue Department (Bomba) Air Unit yesterday.
The Mi-171 (M994-04) helicopter piloted by PgKB I Sofian Ahmed @Ibrahim and co-pilot PgKB II Robert James departed from Miri at 9.06am and returning to the base at 4.08pm.
According to Miri Fire and Rescue Zone zone chief Supt Law Poh Kiong, the vaccines were delivered to Long Loyang, Long Pillah, Long Naah, Long Akah, Long Jeeh, Lio Mato, Long Kevok, Mulu, Long Seridan and Bario.
The unit touched down in Long Loyang at 10am before proceeding to Long Pillah.
The team was also accompanied by personnel from the Ministry of Health (MoH). — DayakDaily
