KUCHING, Sept 7: Six individuals were injured in a road accident along Jalan Stutong Baru today.
According to a news report from the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operation centre, they received a call regarding the incident at 10.49am and rushed personnel to Bomba Tabuan Jaya to the location.
Based on the report from the operation commander, upon arrival at the location, the incident involved a collision between two vehicles, a Perodua Viva and a Toyota Vios.
Two victims, one in both the Perodua Viva and Toyota Vios were extracted by the rescue team while the others were helped out of their respective vehicle by members of the public before the arrival of Bomba.
The exact cause of the accident has yet to be determined. — DayakDaily
